DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-
1) To carry out Hydro geological surveys under various schemes in the field and collect
field data in the prescribed forms.
2) To select sites for drilling bore wells under various schemes.
3) To attend to borehole logging and fill in the data in the prescribed forms.
4) To carry out Aquifer performance Tests and analyse the data to ascertain various Hydraulic Factors.
5) To collect statistical information related to Groundwater Assessment such as census of wells, data on soil conservation, energization of wells etc.
6) To maintain all the technical registers pertaining to Hydro geological surveys and other related technical matters.
7) To prepare various technical reports incorporating all field and other relevant matters.
8) When attached to office he should assist senior Geologist, Assistant Geologist, or any other officer in-charge of a particular section in data compilation and other day to day correspondence on technical matter.
9) To attend to any other work as may be assigned to him by his senior officers.
